We aim to achieve excellence for our existing and future clients by bringing our differentiated value proposition to market and are seeking an exemplary social media professional to help grow our social media function focused on servicing, retaining and developing our existing and future client base.
Responsibilities will include:
Set Hype up for success by creating effective ways of working and winning social media strategies to grow our clients’ social media presence by:
Understanding the needs and goals of your clients (or consult them on defining their needs and goals) based on your understanding of their project, growth stage and aspirationsCreating (or consulting on the creation of) social media strategies that will deliver on the needs and goals of your clientsCreating (or co-creating with the client) content calendars to allow for effective planning and delivery of social media strategiesPartnering with the client and the Hype creative department to determine what creative support is needed to achieve our goals and lead on the delivery of this with the client strategy teamUse your insight and experience to ensure the creative team create the most suitable and effective creative that will empower us to achieve our goalsEstablish clear, measurable and attainable KPIs from the outset, to be reported on weekly, monthly, or as needed

Continually optimize, provide counsel and deliver results to clients by:
Manage, execute and optimise your client content calendars, executing across Twitter and other social channels for numerous clients at once. This includes the ability to write all copy for social media posts.Regularly provide performance reviews, insights and recommendations (whether on weekly status calls, presentations or via written reports) to both the client and Hype teams so we can continually improve our social media output and performanceBe our clients eyes and ears on social media, spotting emerging themes or narratives that might affect our clients businesses (whether good or bad) and communicate these both internally and with clientsBe available for questions or calls with clients on a daily basis so we continually deliver excellent servicing to our clientsHave the confidence to push back on clients should you feel their social media ideas or tactics would not be conducive to the successful delivery of our strategies (and therefore the attainment of our goals).

Identify and create growth opportunities by:
Staying up to date on web3 / crypto market, social media and wider economic trends that might impact our client’s businesses, and communicating these proactivelyContinually be on the look-out for new social media campaign ideas, strategies and tactics that could help take our work to the next levelWorking proactively with the client and all hype departments to continually seek out improvements, optimisations and fresh thinking to improve our output and performance

Requirements

5+ years of experience working in social media, ideally at a marketing agency or social media agency2+ years experience in web3 / crypto (bonus points for managing active social media accounts during this time)Strong knowledge of the web3 and crypto space, especially with regard to how projects grow their brand and community via social media, especially TwitterHot on social media trends trends and how they can influence our clientsExperience with social media scheduling tools, e.g. Sprout SocialAbility to work under pressure in fast-paced environment and respond quickly to ad-hoc requests from clientsResourcefulness, proactivity and excellent communication skillsLover of the written word (copywriting experience a plus!)Fluent spoken and written English is essential; other languages are an advantageA love of memes is also essential!
